Florence Nightingale Exhibition

Here for the summer from July 27 to November 3 this exciting new exhibition explores Florence Nightingale and the way in which she has been viewed throughout time. Nightingale is an iconic figure who has come to symbolise many things. Explore the exhibition to decide what you think about the woman behind the myth. Florence Nightingale’s great uncle, Peter Nightingale was linked to Arkwright’s Mill which was a central part of the Industrial Revolution. Nightingale herself spent a lot of time at Lee Hurst the family’s summer home and had a huge affection for the local landscape.
