Creatives, crafters, artists and anyone up for having a go – coming together for Derbyshire’s new celebration of making.
Fun for Children and adults! Join Local artist and maker Netty Reddish in the school room at Cromford Mills and try your hand at a variety of crafts inspired by the local wildlife.

What lives near the canal, in the rivers and on the river banks. And what might you imagine lives there? There will be something different every day so come back and enjoy the power of making!
Derbyshire Makes is a major new creative programme, celebrating the past, present and future of innovation and making in Derbyshire. Celebrating all types of making, from the home to the high street, to the factory floor.

Paper wiggly snakes and articulated fish

Cork mice, oh nice!

Make a mini or bound book for your ideas and creations

Wooden Fish
Thursday 20th
Nature inspired printing and painting
Friday 21st
Air dried clay creatures
Saturday 22nd
Paper kites, watch them fly!
Sunday 23rd
Paracord keyrings & Gods eyes
Each day a variety of colouring and sticking activities will also be available for the mini makers in your family.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Grown-ups are welcome to be creative too, no child required!
