A tour for the young, and the young at heart. Come and learn about the history of the mill through games and challenges (you can get dressed up too if you want!). Do you have what it takes to be a master mill worker? Race through the production of cotton, figure out the best way to build water channels, and fine tune your family teamwork with our quick-fire activities.
Tours last approx. 45 minutes, including a visit to the Arkwright Experience. Please wear clothes and shoes you can move comfortably in. All games will be played outside unless it is raining heavily. Suitable for 4+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
We can accommodate a maximum of 4 families per tour, and up to 5 people per family. Please book your ticket at the Mill Shop upon arrival to ensure a space.
This half term, we’re giving back by offering all our tours for a donation of your choice. Please give what you can to support our educational work, but don’t let money be a barrier to enjoying the heritage on your doorstep.
