Do you have a passion for marketing and heritage? We have an exciting opportunity at Cromford Mills. Join the Arkwright Society as our Marketing Manager.
We need a dynamic and creative marketing Manager who will help us shape and deliver targeted marketing programmes and activities for Cromford Mills by:
- Driving the promotion of the Arkwright Society and Cromford Mills through various marketing channels including social media campaigns
- Ensuring consistent messaging and branding onsite, online and print platforms
- Fostering engagement with diverse audiences and supporting the charitable messaging and fundraising initiatives
- Supporting the development of a visitor focused culture at Cromford Mills
- Delivering PR initiatives including press releases and stakeholder engagement.
Salary: £28,000 per annum + benefits (initial 2 year fixed term)

At Cromford Mills, we believe in being a supportive, teamwork driven workplace, where working together creates the best experience for our visitors. We operate three catering outlets, one in the main mill complex and two nearby, next to the Cromford Canal. The mill and the canal area are popular destinations for local and national visitors and the catering offer is a key income source for the charity.

We operate guided tours of the mill which includes our visitor centre and the Arkwright Experience, telling the story of Sir Richard Arkwright who established the first mill here at Cromford in 1771. We also have an award-winning educational offer for schools and a very capable and involved volunteer team who help deliver the visitor heritage offer.
